Towards the latter part of 2005, the Spa Doctor switched web hosting companies so that we could enhance our web experience and deliver more to our customers. Starting 11/13/2006, the Spa Doctor has launched its new website.

This new website is not just a simple redesign, but a complete overhaul on how our website is created. The new SpaDoctor.com site is based on the powerful WordPress platform. Some of the new key features of the site are:

In an effort to grow the Spa Doctor web site, we have changed our hosting providers to DreamHost. DreamHost offers many advanced features that will allow us to expand our online presence. With the new hosting company, we hope to enable an e-commerce solution to allow customers to purchase parts, accessories, and chemicals directly online.

‘Spa Doc’ Edward Serocki, 51, eased pain

Known to his friends as “Spa Doc,” Edward Eugene Serocki not only sold and maintained personal spas through his Bellevue business, The Spa Doctor, he eased suffering.

“Especially with people with MS [multiple sclerosis] or fibromyalgia, using tubs for therapeutic reasons, he would make sure that their tubs were all balanced and cleaned and ready for them to use for pain relief,” said his wife, Karen Seely Serocki.

Mr. Serocki died Sunday (Aug. 1) at age 51 after a nine-month battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with tongue cancer in December 2003, and it spread to his liver and lungs.

Born on March 30, 1953, in Kansas City, Kan., Mr. Serocki came to the Northwest because his father, a Boeing employee, was transferred here in the early 1960s. While attending Seattle Preparatory School in 1970, Mr. Serocki met his future wife, who attended Holy Names Academy. But the couple didn’t connect until much later, at a 1997 Seattle Prep football game; they married in February 2003…..
