Spa covers are primarily used to protect your spa from the elements and other things that can ruin your spa. One way they can help you save money is by maintaining the temperature of the water. They do this by preventing heat from escaping when the tub is not in use. In effect, you don’t have to reheat the tub saving you energy and money in the long run. This also prolongs the life of the heater.
The loss of chemicals by evaporation is also hindered. This means you don’t have to use chemicals often to clean or disinfect your spa. Again this helps you save money. However, don’t use this as a reason for you to neglect cleaning your spa when necessary.
